First expedition to the Archipelago on a rented catamaran with MAP members.
Visited locations: Kaw Thaung (Victoria Point) town, Sisters (Lengan), Bentinck, Yenge Kyunn, Myeik town, King, Elphinstone (Donepeleaw village), Ross Island (Dun Jun, Nyomay village), Jack Island (Wei village), Clara, Great Swinton, Lord Loughborough.

- Location, mapping and assessment of the Moken situation.
- Articles: Ivanoff, J., " Recomposition of the Moken Identity " ; Ivanoff, J. and al. " Rediscovering the Mergui Archipelago", Bonjour Siam Magazine (Phuket).
- Project of a Moken School (Thierry Lejard).

- Contacts with authorities at Kaw Thaung and Myeik, discussions with the members of the Myeik and Tenasserim Journals.
- Authorisation for Sibian Discovery Association to visit, navigate and promote the Myeik (Mergui) Archipelago on a traditional Myanmar cargo boat called Moken Queen.

Sixth expedition in the Archipelago of the Moken Queen MAP members together with Lars Wolfgang Guido, Léo Scomorovschi, Guillaume Juherian (film-makers), Ursula Markus and Umberto Tomasi.
Visited locations: Kaw Thaung town, Bada (Nyang Wee), Pu Nala (Majong Klay), Great Swinton, Lampi, Sisters (Lengan), Kubin (Yekantaung village), Myeik town, Yangon.
Results:
- Preparation of the exhibition A Journey through the Myeik Archipelago held at the Pan Sea hotel on the 20th of April.
- Collect items for the exhibition (100 items: boats model, spirits poles, harpoon, spears, goggles, traditional collecting tools, baskets, etc).
