First expedition to the Archipelago on a rented catamaran with MAP
members.
Visited locations: Kaw Thaung (Victoria Point) town, Sisters (Lengan),
Bentinck, Yenge Kyunn, Myeik town, King, Elphinstone (Donepeleaw
village), Ross Island (Dun Jun, Nyomay village), Jack Island (Wei
village), Clara, Great Swinton, Lord Loughborough.
Results:
- Location, mapping and assessment of the Moken situation.
- Articles: Ivanoff, J., " Recomposition of the Moken Identity

- Project of a Moken School (Thierry Lejard).

- Authorisation for Sibian Discovery Association to visit, navigate
and promote the Myeik (Mergui) Archipelago on a traditional Myanmar

Kunlasab Utpuay (assistant).

Visited locations: Kaw Thaung town, Bada (Nyang Wee), Pu Nala (Majong
Klay), Great Swinton, Lampi, Sisters (Lengan), Kubin (Yekantaung
village), Myeik town, Yangon.

- Preparation of the exhibition A Journey through the Myeik Archipelago
held at the Pan Sea hotel on the 20th of April.
- Collect items for the exhibition (100 items: boats model, spirits
poles, harpoon, spears, goggles, traditional collecting tools, baskets,
etc).
